We are so proud that for the second time our underwater images are being used in a major film production. Spindrift Images produced a documentary about the secret slaughter of hundreds of thousands of whales by the Soviet Union and Japan. Through archival footage, hidden documents, and personal records kept by Soviet scientists. "The Witness Is a Whale" exposes this ruthless killing. This film is yet another story that needed to be told. This documentary by Nick Dean and Cheryl Holmen also recounts the recovery of many whale species highlighting their culture, behavior, and overall importance to the health of our oceans.
