A little paradise

A little paradise: space and privacy!

Two dark wooden bungalows in a rainforest atmosphere.

In front a deep swimming pool.

An open “warung” where, every morning, a complete breakfast is served.

Due to two experienced and supreme fish spotters: Greet and Olivier; our dives were unique.

Never was I guided through such a variety of sea live in such an easy way!

Greet & Olivier, thanks for your endless hospitality.

Beautiful pictures

We had a very agreable time staying at Beyond Scuba.

We enjoyed the extensive breakfast immensely and slept great in the bungalow.

We stayed only four days but still have gained a bunch of beautiful photographs.

Rebreather Courses

All courses are thought in English, French, Dutch and German.

For over 50 years professional underwater filmmakers have been using rebreathers to make breathtaking underwater documentaries.

In the fifties Austrian underwater filmmakers Hans and Lotte Hass were using the Dräger Gegenlung rebreather to achieve worldwide fame with their pioneering films.

Today one of the world’s finest underwater cinematographers Howard Hall and his team are using the Biomarine 15.5 rebreather and have established worldwide recognition with their films.

Rebreathers allow film teams to dive for extended periods and enable them to take advantage of bubble-free diving to create film shoots that most underwater videographers would only dream of.

At Beyond Scuba we offer training in rebreather diving using the best equipment, turning rebreather diving into a straightforward and rewarding experience!

Our dive trips are also excellent for semi-closed rebreather divers.

VOYAGER Semi Closed Rebreather Diver (SCR)

This PADI Distinctive Specialty Course provides the training you need to dive with the Voyager in semi-closed configuration to a depth of 30 metres/100 feet with a no-stop dive profile. Course content includes rebreather theory (physics and physiology), operational procedures, Voyager modular configurations, maintenance and emergency procedures. The material taught in a basic Nitrox course is essential to understanding and using a rebreather system. All students are required to complete an entry-level assessment to gauge your understanding prior to starting the SCR course.

Rebreather Cameraman

This Distinctive specialty is unique to Beyond Scuba, which means there is no other place in the world where you can get this exclusive training!

Rebreathers allow film teams to dive for extended periods and enable them to take advantage of bubble-free diving. Diving on a rebreather you can capture moments on film most underwater videographers could only dream of.

Voyager Rebreather Experience Program

This experience program (not a certification course) is designed for the certified open circuit diver with no rebreather training or experience. It gives an impression of diving with the Voyager rebreather.
It consists of basic theory and two one-hour dives on the Voyager rebreather in semi-closed mode using a 40% Nitrox mix to a maximum depth of 15 metres/50 feet.
This program is completed in one day and is ideal for anyone who wants to try out a rebreather without undertaking the full course.
