Chapter 1: Equipment
This chapter explains the basics that you need to know about cameras, housings, lenses, video lights, filters and accessories.
Chapter 2: Preparing for the dive
Here we will explain how to set up your equipment in anticipation of the goals you want to achieve during the dive.
Chapter 3: During the dive
This chapter will focus on how to film under water regarding your position in perspective to your subject, how to use tools such as white balance and manual or automatic focus. It also explains the basic rules of composition.
Chapter 4: After the dive
Once you’re out of the water the time has come to take care of your equipment and start working on your film. Collecting images under water is just a part of the process, assembling your shots to a cool film is often the hardest and most time-consuming part. The editing, however, makes all the difference between random footage and a movie.
